POWER Wrist Builders® began with a need to fill a niche in a percussionist's development. "I got my first pair of aluminum practice sticks from my drum teacher. Since then I have always used them as an integral part of my practice and warm-up routine," states Mr. Loose. "This is not a new idea, it's been around a long time, even before I began taking lessons in 1958. All I have tried to do is create a high quality product that can be used at all levels of expertise and abilities to help the percussionist build strength, agility, and endurance."
The Beginning.... I began basic research and design in 1990 with various materials and shapes. I modeled POWER Wrist Builders® after the aluminum sticks that I got from my drum teacher. I made changes and enhancements to the design until I felt I had a well-balanced and useful product. Other manufacturer's have produced aluminum sticks over the years but have since stopped producing and marketing them. After months of test marketing and feedback, three basic models and weights of solid aluminum sticks and two weights of solid brass sticks were settled on. Computer Controlled Conditions - All models are made under computer controlled-conditions from the highest quality solid aluminum and solid brass materials. Each stick is 15-1/2'' in length. The aluminum sticks are anodized to protect the material as well as produce a high quality finish. The brass sticks are polished to a high luster.

Ultimate Practice Sticks" are designed to increase a drummer's wrist
strength, agility, and endurance. Each stick is 15-1/2" long and are
3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" in diameter. Made from the
highest quality SOLID aluminum and SOLID brass materials and range in weight
from 2.4 ounces (57 grams) to 28 ounces (795 grams).
Engraved and Serialized - Each pair of POWER Wrist Builders® has been engraved with the POWER Wrist Builders® name and logo. A serial number identifies each pair of POWER Wrist Builders® and insures you that it is an authentic model.
