POWER Wrist Builders® "The Ultimate Practice Sticks" are designed to increase a drummer's wrist strength, agility, and endurance. Each stick is 15-1/2" long and are 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and 1" in diameter. Made from the highest quality SOLID aluminum and SOLID brass materials and range in weight from 2.4 ounces (57 grams) to 28 ounces (795 grams).

Computer Controlled Conditions

All models are made under computer controlled-conditions from the highest quality solid aluminum and solid brass materials. Each stick is 15-1/2'' in length. The aluminum sticks are anodized to protect the material as well as produce a high quality finish. The brass sticks are polished to a high luster.

Engraved and Serialized

Each pair of POWER Wrist Builders® has been engraved with the POWER Wrist Builders® name and logo. A serial number identifies each pair of POWER Wrist Builders® and insures you that is as an authentic model.

What Size Do I Need?

To help you to select the best size, refer to the sizing chart. Various wood stick manufacturer's wood sticks are listed with the corresponding POWER Wrist Builders® suggested size. This is only a guide to help you decide which POWER Wrist Builders® to begin with.

The PWB2-57 model is a 3/8" diameter solid aluminum, blue anodized practice stick developed for the performer who needs a very crisp and responsive sound on a snare drum. This 2.5 ounce (57 grams) model was also designed for the beginning student with small hands that just would not fit around the classic 2B beginner stick. The weight of a 2B is there but the large diameter is not. Drum corps also use the stick in their routines for special effects and new sounds.

The PWB4-115 model is 1/2" diameter solid aluminum, silver anodized practice stick developed as the all-around workhorse of the product line. This stick weights 4.0 ounce (115 grams) and is designed for the performer or student who has been playing a number of years but would like to increase their strength, agility and endurance. A warm-up routine on a practice pad helps the user feel ready and 'loosened-up' before the performance rather than halfway through the performance. This size and weight is a good all-around stick for the average-sized hand and the skill set of the advanced percussionist.

The PWB6-170 model is a 5/8" diameter solid aluminum, red anodized practice stick developed for the professional percussionist who needs to work out with a heavier weight and a larger diameter stick. This stick weighs 6 ounces (170- grams). This well-balanced stick feels right to a user who already has strong wrists but still feels the need for a challenge.

The PWB10-284 model is a 3/4" diameter solid aluminum, violet anodized practice stick developed for the drum core percussionist that requires a 3S size stick for heavy duty workouts. This stick weighs 10 ounces (284 grams). This size is a perfect size for the 'marching' percussionist.

During the test market phase, various designs, styles, and materials were researched. The brass models of POWER Wrist Builders® are a result of this consumer testing. These practice sticks are manufactured to the same exacting specifications as the solid aluminum ones, but are made from high quality, solid brass. The brass models weigh approximately three times as much as the aluminum models of the same diameter. Because of their weight, extreme care and caution should be used when using the brass models.

The PWB8-227 model is a 3/8" diameter solid brass practice stick. This 8 ounce (227 gram) model can be used to develop finger control and ability.

The PWB13-369 model is 1/2" diameter solid brass practice stick. This stick weights 13.0 ounces (369 grams). The feel and use of this weight of stick has been designed to continue the development of the percussionist who requires more challenge and weight then the aluminum PWB4-115 model.

The PWB20-567 model is a 5/8" diameter solid brass practice stick. This stick weighs 20 ounces (567 grams). This model is a pound and a quarter for each stick. The user of this stick should be an advanced student or professional who is looking for a stick that is well balanced and heavy enough to build endurance very quickly.

The PWB28-795 model is a 3/4" diameter solid brass practice stick. This stick weighs 28 ounces (795 grams). The PWB28-795 model is the heaviest model in the product line. Each stick is one and three quarters pounds (1-3/4 pounds) per stick. This model has been designed for that percussionist who demands the very best. This individual has will have many years of experience and very strong wrists and fore arms. Only the most advanced students and professions would use this model.
